KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 5, 2010 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the appointment of Mr. Brandon <br />Huber to the Planning Commission Dist #1 <br />Vacancy. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Currently there is a vacant position on the <br />Planning Commission for District #1. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Our office received an application for <br />appointment to the Board of Adjustment from <br />Mr. Huber on September 10, 2010. On <br />September 22, 2010 the Board received a letter <br />from Mr. Huber requesting to also be <br />considered for the Kittitas County Planning <br />Commission. Staff verified that there is <br />currently a vacancy for the District #1 position <br />which was recently vacated by Mike Studer. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Brandon Huber to the Kittitas County <br />Planning Commission for a four year term <br />effective immediately and expiring on 12-31- <br />2012. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Staff to notify applicant and the Clerk of the <br />Planning Commission of Board action. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Application & letter from Brandon Huber <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Robinson, Deputy Clerk of the Board
