KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: October 5, 2010 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the reappointment of Mr. Rich Elliot to <br />the Kittitas County Board of Health (BOH) <br />Community member. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: On September 16, 2010 staff received a letter from <br />James Rivard, Co-Interim Administrator of Public <br />Health indicating that at the Board of Health <br />meeting held on September 16, 2010 it was <br />unanimously recommended reappoint Mr. Elliot to <br />the Board of Health for another 3 year term to <br />begin immediately and expire September 2013. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Staff received only one application for the Board of <br />Health position, from Mr. Rich Elliot. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Mr. Rich Elliott to the BOH for a three year <br />term effective immediately through September 1st, <br />2013. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Deputy Clerk of the Board to notify applicant and <br />the Kittitas County BOH of the Board’s decision. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Letter from Public Health Co-Interim <br />Administrator James Rivard. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Mandy Robinson, Deputy Clerk of the Board
