KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA DATE: October 20, 2009 <br />ACTION REQUESTER: Consider the appointment of Clayton. Myers to the Kittitas <br />County Fair Board. (Finishing a term previously held by the <br />late Bob McBride) <br />BACK -GROUND: On September 10' staff received an application from Clayton <br />Myers requesting to rill the Security Director vacancy that <br />was recently vacated by the late Bob McBride, on the Kittitas <br />County Fair Board. <br />INTERACTION: On October 7, 2009, the BoCC received a letter from Kittitas <br />County Fair Board Secretary Roylene Crawford indicating <br />the Fair Board had met and determined that Mr. Myers <br />would be a good fit to fill the vacancy. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Consider the appointment of Clayton Myers to the Kittitas <br />County Fair Board for a three -year term effective <br />imniediately through December 31, 2olo, (finishing a term) <br />and to authorize the Chairman to sign a. letter of <br />appointment. <br />HANDLING: Deputy Clerk of the Board to notify members of the KCFB of <br />the Commissioners decision. <br />ATTACHMENTS: Application from Clayton Myers <br />Letter from Fair Board Secretary Roylene Crawford <br />LFAID STAFF: Mandy Robinson, Deputy Clerk of the Board <br />
