JANUARY 3, 2017 <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice -Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O'Brien. <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Tyler Tushkov, Service Desk <br />Specialist; Marsha Weyand, Assessor; Erin Moore, Environmental Health <br />Specialist; Darren Higashiyama, Operations Commander; Jerry Pettit, <br />Auditor; Jim Goeben, IT Director; Bill Davis, System Administrator; <br />Calvin Lee, Service Desk Specialist; Lucas Huck, Engineer; Kathy <br />Jurgens, Finance System Manager; Andrew Drain, Application Development <br />Manager; Jason Eklund, GIS Coordinator; Doug Fessler, Network <br />Administrator; Zane Kinney, Web Developer; Judy Pless, Budget & Finance <br />Manager; Debbie Myers, Board Clerk/Receptionist; Patti Johnson, Solid <br />Waste/Maintenance Director/Project Manager and 1 member of the public. <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board called the meeting to order. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />NOMINATIONS FOR 2017 CHAIRMAN AND VICE-CHAIRMAN <br />Commissioner Osiadacz nominated Commissioner Jewell to serve as Chairman <br />of the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners for the year 2017. <br />Commissioner O'Brien seconded the nomination. Nominations were closed. <br />A unanimous ballot was cast for Commissioner Jewell to serve as Chairman <br />for the year 2017. <br />Chairman Jewell asked for nominations to serve as Vice -Chairman of the <br />Kittitas County Board of Commissioners for the year 2017. Commissioner <br />O'Brien nominated Commissioner Osiadacz to serve as Vice -Chairman for <br />2017. Chairman Jewell seconded the nomination.
