CERTIFICATION OF ASSESSED VALUATION
1, Marsha Weyand, Kittitas County Assessor, pursuant to the duty imposed upon me by
RCW 84.48.130, certify that the assessed valuation of all the taxable property situated
within the boundaries of City of Cie Elum for the assessment year 2016 and tax year
2017 is 237,290,416 and is recorded as such in the Kittitas County Assessment Roll.
The above valuation is based upon the values established and certified in the 2016
assessment year and certified to the Kittitas County Board of Equalization on November
8, 2016 pursuant to RCW 84.40.320.
This valuation includes 1,841,180 which is the value of new construction and
improvements to property in 2016, plus any increase in the value of state -assessed
property included in the certificate of values from the Washington State Department of
Revenue received November 10, 2016.
The value herein certified to you does not include all changes that may be ordered by the
Kittitas County Board of Equalization or other value changes caused by manifest errors,
exemption changes, etc.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF R05LYN,
WASHINGTON AUTHORIZING THE 2017
REGULAR PROPERTY TAX LEVY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roslyn has met and considered its budget
for the calendar year 2017; and,
WHEREAS, the districts actual levy amount from the previous year was $ 197,639.99;
and,
WHEREAS, the population of the district is less than 10,000; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the governing body of the taxing district
that an increase in the regular property tax levy is hereby authorized for the levy to be
collected in the 2017 tax year.
The dollar amount of the increase over the actual levy amount from the previous year
shall be $ 2,363.85 which is a percentage increase of 1.196039% from the previous year.
This increase is exclusive of additional revenue resulting from new constructions,
improvements to property, newly constructed wind turbines, solar, biomass, and
geothermal facilities, and any increase in the value of state assessed property, any
annexations that have occurred and refunds made.

RCW 84.48.130, certify that the assessed valuation of all the taxable property situated
within the boundaries of City of Roslyn for the assessment year 2016 and tax year 2017 is
91,034,459 and is recorded as such in the Kittitas County Assessment Roll.
The above valuation is based upon the values established and certified in the 2016
assessment year and certified to the Kittitas County Board of Equalization on November
8, 2016 pursuant to RCW 84.40.320.
This valuation includes 492,110 which is the value of new construction and
improvements to property in 2016, plus any increase in the value of state -assessed
property included in the certificate of values from the Washington State Department of
