KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />January 3, 2017 <br />Approve a Resolution to Award the Bid to <br />furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for <br />Calendar Year 2017. <br />BACKGROUND: Annually, Kittitas County Public Works goes <br />out to bid for the furnishing of Petroleum and <br />Lubricant Products in accordance with <br />specifications. Bid packets are sent out to all <br />local businesses in order to give equal <br />opportunity. <br />Bids were opened on December 22, 2016, at <br />2:00 p.m. in the Public Works Department and <br />five bids were received. Public Works <br />recommends the bids from A-1 Petroleum for <br />Schedule "A"; R.E. Powell Distributing for <br />Schedule "B" based on profit margin and Co - <br />Energy for Schedule "C". <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Move to approve Resolution to Award the Bids <br />to furnish Petroleum and Lubricant Products for <br />2017. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; Bid Tabs <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook <br />Director of Public Works <br />
