Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br />Fax (509) 962-7682 <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 2, 2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Adopting by Ordinance the Amendments to Kittitas County Code Approved by <br />the Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The County is amending Kittitas County Code through the annual docketing <br />procedure required by KCC 15B.03.030. <br /> <br />The Kittitas County Planning Commission held a public hearing on November <br />28, 2017 to consider eight (8) proposed amendments to Kittitas County Code. <br />Six of the eight items were recommended for approval by the Kittitas County <br />Board of Commissioners. <br /> <br />The Kittitas County Board of County Commissioners held an open public <br />hearing on December 19, 2017, during which public testimony was taken from <br />those persons wishing to be heard regarding the docket items being considered. <br />At the public hearing and after deliberation of the proposed items, the Board of <br />County Commissioners approved, or approved with amendment, all eight (8) of <br />the items. The Commissioners at the hearing directed staff to prepare enabling <br />documents for the docket items. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Community Development Services, Public Works, Prosecuting Attorney, and <br />Board of County Commissioners. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the Ordinance regarding Kittitas County’s 2017 annual docket items as <br />approved by the Board of Commissioners during the public hearing on December <br />19, 2017. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Enabling Ordinance and Exhibits <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Dan Carlson, AICP, Community Development Services Director
