AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: January 2, 2018
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the Appointment of Mary McClary to the County
Planning Commission Dist. #3 vacancy & authorize the Chair to
sign a letter of appointment.
BACKGROUND: Currently there is one vacant position on the Kittitas County
Planning Commission Dist. #3.
INTERACTION: Application from Ms. McClary was received 10/26/2017.
Staff was directed on 12-14-2017 to place the Application on the
first Agenda Session in January for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Ms. McClary to the vacant Dist. #3 Planning Commission
seat, for a term to commence immediately & expire on
December 31, 2020 and authorize the Chair to sign a letter of
appointment.
HANDLING: Staff to notify the candidate and notify the Clerk of the Planning
Commission, as well as update Boards and Committees website.
