BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office needs to replace the Tasers in the jail, as ours are outdated and no longer supported for replacement or repair. Additionally, the replacement of the Taser units early in 2018 will allow Corrections to conduct a transition/recertification course to introduce officers to the new units coinciding with the issuance of them.
