AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: December 19, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve an Agreement between the City of Ellensburg and
Kittitas County to provide Library Services to County
Residents for the Year 2018.
BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Board of Commissioners approved
$100,000.00 in the 2018 budget for the City of Ellensburg
to provide library services to County residents living
outside the City limits for the period January 1, 2018
through December 31, 2018. This is an increase of
$4,000.00 from last year’s budget.
INTERACTION: The Agreement was previously approved by the
Prosecutors office, and the budget amount has been verified
with Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Board to sign an Agreement
between Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg to
provide library services to County residents in the amount
of $100,000.00 for the period beginning January 1, 2018
through December 31, 2018.
HANDLING: 1 – Copy Clerk of the Board
2 originals to City of Ellensburg for signature
Original to Clerk of the Board and a copy to Judy Pless,
Budget & Finance Manager upon fully executed
