KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: December 19, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Consider reappointments or NEW appointments to <br />the following County Boards, Committee’s and <br />Commissions: Airport Advisory Committee; <br />Behavioral Health and Recovery Advisory Board; <br />Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee; <br />Fair Board; Kittitas County Homelessness & <br />Affordable Housing Committee and the TV Dist. <br />Board. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Currently the County has multiple vacancies on its <br />volunteer Boards, Committee’s and Commissions. <br /> Staff advertised in June of 2017 & September 2017 <br />for upcoming and current vacancies. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Staff published notice of vacancies through the <br />County’s Press Release application which sends <br />notice to the Daily Record, the County website and <br />its subscribers as well as KXLE Radio. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Consider the Reappointments of John Smith <br />for a two year term & Dale Rusho, for a 3 <br />year term (terms ending 12/31/2017) to the <br />Kittitas County Airport Advisory Board <br />effective 1/1/2018 and to expire 12/31/ 2019 <br />- Smith & 1/1/2018 and expiring 12/31/2020 <br />- Rusho. <br /> <br /> Consider the Reappointment of Joy <br />Stochosky (term ending 12/31/2017), for a 3 <br />year term to the Kittitas County Behavioral <br />Health and Recovery Advisory Board <br />effective 1.1.2018 and to expire 12/31/2020. <br /> <br /> Consider the Reappointment of Toby <br />Allphin (term ending 12/31/2017), for a 3 <br />year term to the Kittitas County
