End of Term - - Options for Commissioners
As my appointed term of service on the board for the Kittitas County Television Improvement District
draws to a close, I look back on the work and successes of the District and the board. Successes from
the past builds optimism for the future.
My current term on the board expires December 31, 2019.. Having served multiple terms I stand ready to
step down and allow a new person to be appointed. Chair Joel Underhill indicates there may be new
people in our county interested in serving on the board. I stand ready to serve another term with the TV
Improvement District and our county should reappointment occur. However, if a new person is to be
appointed, I stand ready to step down at the conclusion of this year.
I always support bringing new people into positions delivering results for the many programs in our
Kittitas County. And, as a resident of our county with interests in extending quality as process and result
in our many activities, I stand ready to serve on the Kittitas County Television Improvement District
board or, possibly, in other county positions.
If there is a person to be appointed, I stand ready to have my appointment expire and the newly
appointed member to come forward as a member of the TV District's board. If there is no one ready to
be appointed, I stand ready to serve another term.
Optimism continues for our successes in Kittitas County.

In accordance with the Kittitas County policy of appointments, our office must
advertise upcoming vacancies and request interested persons to submit an application;
however, first consideration will be given to those re -applying for the position.
If you would like to be considered for reappointment to this Board, please advise our
