AGENDA DATE: December 5, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set Public Hearing for 2017 Annual Docket Amendments to
Kittitas County Code
BACKGROUND: CDS staff is requesting to set a public hearing for consideration of proposed
amendments to Kittitas County Code through the annual “Docket” process. The
County accepted citizen amendment requests through June 30, 2017 for consideration
by the Kittitas County Planning Commission and the Kittitas County Board of
County Commissioners. The amendments must be consistent with the Growth
Management Act and other applicable state laws, applicable countywide planning
policies, and the goals, policies, and objectives of the Comprehensive Plan.
The Kittitas County Planning Commission considered the changes at a public hearing
on November 28, 2017. The Planning Commission staff report and proposed code
changes are attached. A new staff report containing the Planning Commission
recommendations will be provided prior to the public hearing.
