AGENDA DATE: November 7, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution Adopting Amendments the Kittitas
County Regional Library Board By-Laws.
BACKGROUND: On January 16, 1996 the Kittitas County Regional Library
Board was created. Staff was directed to prepare a
Resolution to consider Adopting Amendments to the
current Kittitas County Regional Library Board By-Laws.
Josephine Camarillo, Ellensburg Public Library Director,
provided Amendments to the Kittitas County Regional
Library Board By-Laws. The Kittitas County Regional
Library Board approved the amendments on August 15,
2017. The amendments are to Article III – Board Members
- Section 1 which adds language to include Central
Washington University’s Brooks Library Board the
opportunity to appoint a member to the KCRLB, if they
decide to participate.
INTERACTION: Staff prepared a Resolution which has been reviewed by
Josephine Camarillo.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve a Resolution Adopting Amendments to the
Kittitas County Regional Library Board By-Laws.
