AGENDA DATE: November 7, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Deny Claim of Richard Cole.
BACKGROUND: The claimant, Richard Cole (“Mr. Cole”) claims damages of over
$10,000, as a result of the hunting incident alleged in his claim, which
involved Mr. Cole hunting a deer while on private property. Mr. Cole
did not have permission to hunt on that parcel of private property.
Kittitas County Claim # 201710130040.
INTERACTION: The incident alleged in the Claim was witnessed by a former Kittitas
County Deputy Prosecutor, as well as by Department of Fish and
Wildlife Officer Brent Scherzinger and Kittitas County Sheriff’s
Deputy Zach Green. The Sheriff recommends denial of this claim.
RECOMMENDATION: Deny Kittitas County Claim # 201710130040.
