ACTION REQUESTED: Approve Claim of Jody L. Beeson.
BACKGROUND: The claimant, Jody L. Beeson (“Ms. Beeson”) claims damages of
$70.00 to reimburse her for the cost of 2 adult fair admission tickets
($20.00) and 2 kids’ ride bracelets ($50.00), to the Kittitas County
Fair. Ms. Beeson claims she was contacted by the Ellensburg Police
Department outside of the Kittitas County Fairgrounds, and as a result
of this contact, she felt like she was denied access to the Kittitas
County Fair, to which she had already purchased tickets. Kittitas
County Claim # 201710030001.
INTERACTION: The incident alleged in the Claim was observed by the Kittitas County
Prosecutor, who recommends approval of this claim.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve Kittitas County Claim # 201710030001, in an amount not to
exceed $70.00.
