Action Requested:
Request to adopt a Resolution to cancel various Claims Fund warrants in
the amount of $1,008.55
Background:
We have outstanding warrants (check) for 2015totaling $1,008.55. The
checks have not been cashed and notices have been sent to all payees
and returned undeliverable. We have attempted to locate the owners
the warrant to no avail.
According to state law RCW 63.29 we are required to remit the
outstanding warrants to Washington State Department of Revenue
Unclaimed Property Division.
Recommendation: Request to adopt a Resolution to cancel various Claims Fund warrants in
the amount of $1,008.55.
Handling: Return one original to Judy Pless
