AGENDA DATE: October 17th, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Signature of final mylar granting final approval for the plat of Currier Creek
Estates (LP-10-00002)
BACKGROUND: On December 21st, 2010, the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners granted
preliminary approval to the plat of Currier Creek Estates, 3-4 (LP-10-00002), and
on April 1st, 2014, signed Resolution No. 2010-134 adopting the findings of fact,
conclusions of law, and conditions of approval for the plat. The plat consists of
subdivision of a portion of a 24.28 acre parcel into 88 single-family lots in two
phases, with phase 3 consisting of 49 lots and phase 4 consisting of 39 lots.
The applicant is requesting final mylar approval for this plat. Staff has reviewed
the final mylar and finds that the conditions required by Resolution No. 2010-134
have been met and the plat is consistent with the applicable provisions of Kittitas
County Code. The mylar has been reviewed by all reviewing departments. All
signatures have been obtained, except for the Treasurer’s. The Treasurer’s
signature is required before the plat is recorded with the Auditor’s office.
INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works,
Public Health, Treasurer, Assessor’s Office, Auditor’s Office
RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the plat of Currier
Creek Estates (LP-10-00002).
HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for recording.
ATTACHMENTS: The final mylar for the plat of Currier Creek Estates 3-4 will be provided by staff
for signature.
