HOMELESSNESS AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE <br />205 West 5th Ave. Ste. 108 <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />OCTOBER 17, 2017 HAHC RECOMMENDATION <br />Board of County Commissioners, <br />During the September 27, 2017 meeting of the Homelessness and Affordable Housing <br />Committee (HAHC) the committee voted to recommend to the Board of County Commissioners <br />(BOCC) allocating up to $500,000.00 towards Homelessness and Affordable Housing grants; <br />$400,000.00 from the Homelessness account; $100,000.00 from the Affordable Housing <br />account. <br />The five >7rant annlications are listed below: <br />Habitat for Humanity -14 House Build Project <br />Habitat for Humanity -Critical Home Repair Projects <br />HopeSource-Women's Sober House <br />HopeSource- Housing Authority Supportive Services <br />HopeSource-Senior Support & Advocacy Program <br />The HAHC respectfully requests the BOCC allocate $90,000.00 towards the Habitat House <br />Build Project; $10,000.00 towards the Habitat Home Repair Projects; $107,034.00 towards the <br />Women's Sober House (for 2 yrs; $53,517.00 per year; second year funding subject to review); <br />$117,225.00 towards the Housing Authority Supportive Services; and $175,741.00 towards the <br />Senior Support & Advocacy Program (plus previous allocations). <br />Thank you, <br />Dz't-4, I V-11-, <br />Debbie Myers, Clerk <br />Kittitas County HAHC <br />Kittitas County Courthouse • 205 West 5's Avenue, STE 108 • Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />(509) 962-7508 -FAX (509) 962-7679 <br />
