ACTION REQUESTED:
Request Boards approval for Patti Johnson Solid Waste Director to sign the Community Litter Cleanup
program agreement with the Department of Ecology.
BACKGROUND:
Kittitas County Solid Waste runs a litter cleanup program funded through the Department of Ecology. This
biennium the agreement were late getting out and caused the program to start late this year.
The Community Litter Clean up program pays for a youth litter crew to clean County Roads, Illegal dumps
and Public lands.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend Board of County Commissioners Authorize the Solid Waste Directors signature on the
Community Litter Cleanup program agreement.
