ACTION REQUESTED: Request Approval of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public
Services Contract No. 16-62210-008 Closeout Performance Report for project end date June 30, 2017.

BACKGROUND: The Commissioner’s office received a letter from the Department of Community, Trade
and Economic Development requesting that the County approve the 2017 Public Services Grant Closeout
Report for the Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG).
INTERACTION: HopeSource has completed and reviewed their sections of the report. The Auditor’s
office has completed and reviewed the final Closeout report and recommends the Board’s approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve and authorize the Chair to sign the CDBG Closeout Performance
Report for contract #16-62210-008 for the period July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017.
