Kittitas County <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br /> <br />Agenda Date: <br />September 19, 2017 <br /> <br />Action Requested: <br />Request approval of the Community Development Block Grant (HUD) Fair Housing Resolution <br /> <br />Background: <br />In order for the County to remain compliant with the grant requirements for the Community <br />Development Block Grants (CDBG) which are passed through from the federal office of Housing <br />and Urban Development (HUD), we must pass a Fair housing resolution. The language is from <br />CDBG, and the County Contact person will be the Chairman of the Board of County <br />Commissioners. This resolution will become effective up signing. <br /> <br />CDBG requires that the Fair Housing Resolution be published and or posted on County website. <br /> <br />Recommendation <br />Recommend the Board of County Commissioners adopt the Community Development Block <br />Grant (HUD) Fair Housing Resolution, naming the Chairman of the Board as the County’s <br />contact and that this resolution is posted on the County’s website. <br /> <br />Handling <br />Send a Signed resolution to Judy Pless.
