RESOLUTION

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
HERITAGE UNIVERSITY AND THE KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH
DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD),
is charged with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the
County; and
WHEREAS, Heritage University offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program as
part of its curriculum which includes a required clinical learning experience; and
WHEREAS, KCPHD has suitable clinical experiences and facilities available for the clinical
learning experience of such students and can mutually benefit from utilizing
students in their facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Parties agree that these clinical experiences should occur in the manner detailed
in the agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas
County, Washington, hereby authorizes the Kittitas County Public Health
Department to execute an Agreement with Heritage University that is attached
hereto, and incorporated herein by reference.
