BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2017-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />HERITAGE UNIVERSITY AND THE KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH <br />DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD), <br />is charged with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the <br />County; and <br />WHEREAS, Heritage University offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program as <br />part of its curriculum which includes a required clinical learning experience; and <br />WHEREAS, KCPHD has suitable clinical experiences and facilities available for the clinical <br />learning experience of such students and can mutually benefit from utilizing <br />students in their facilities; and <br />WHEREAS, the Parties agree that these clinical experiences should occur in the manner detailed <br />in the agreement attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas <br />County, Washington, hereby authorizes the Kittitas County Public Health <br />Department to execute an Agreement with Heritage University that is attached <br />hereto, and incorporated herein by reference. <br />DATED this __________ day of ____________________, 2017, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Paul Jewell, Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Laura Osidacz, Vice-Chair <br /> <br /> __________________________________________ <br /> Obie O’Brien, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />_____________________________ <br />Clerk of the Board <br />□ Julie Kjorsvik <br />□ Mandy Buchholz
