AGENDA DATE: August 15, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Set a Public Hearing to consider a
potential Speed Limit Reduction on Carroll
Road and Amend Section 10.08.020 of the
Kittitas County Code.
BACKGROUND: Recently, numerous residents along Carroll
Road attended a Public Works Study Session
requesting assistance with speeding trucks
along Carroll Road. Public Works deployed
data collecting devices and has completing
processing of speed data. Public Works is now
ready to share the data collected with the
Board of County Commissioners and area
residents.
INTERACTION: Public Works
RECOMMENDATION: Set a Public Hearing to consider a Speed Limit
Reduction on Carroll Road and Amend Section
10.08.020 of the Kittitas County Code.
HANDLING: Return a Signed Notice of Public Hearing to
Public Works.
ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing, Vicinity Map, Speed
Study results.

The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners will meet at 2:00 pm on September 5, 2017 in the Commissioners' Auditorium
located at the Kittitas County Courthouse, Ellensburg, Washington to consider a potential Speed Limit Reduction on Carroll
Road and Amend Section 10.08.020 of the Kittitas County Code.
