AGENDA DATE: August 15, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) appoint Jim
Armstrong to the Kittitas County’s tourism infrastructure plan capital
improvement program technical review team (TRT).
BACKGROUND: The BOCC recently approved a new capital improvement program
(CIP) to help implement the County’s Tourism Infrastructure Plan.
Part of the new process includes review and monitoring of approved
grant projects by a Technical Review Team (TRT) for feasibility and
any scope of work modifications. The TRT of seven members was
appointed by the BOCC during the July 18, 2017 Agenda Session.
INTERACTION: One of the members appointed on July 18, 2017 has since moved out
of state and resigned from the TRT, leaving an open position.
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC appoint Jim Armstrong to the Kittitas County’s
tourism infrastructure plan capital improvement program TRT.
