<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 15, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) appoint Jim <br />Armstrong to the Kittitas County’s tourism infrastructure plan capital <br />improvement program technical review team (TRT). <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The BOCC recently approved a new capital improvement program <br />(CIP) to help implement the County’s Tourism Infrastructure Plan. <br />Part of the new process includes review and monitoring of approved <br />grant projects by a Technical Review Team (TRT) for feasibility and <br />any scope of work modifications. The TRT of seven members was <br />appointed by the BOCC during the July 18, 2017 Agenda Session. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: One of the members appointed on July 18, 2017 has since moved out <br />of state and resigned from the TRT, leaving an open position. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC appoint Jim Armstrong to the Kittitas County’s <br />tourism infrastructure plan capital improvement program TRT. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – LTAC <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: None <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Debbie Myers, LTAC Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
