AGENDA DATE: August 15, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the reappointment of Erik Allen to the
Kittitas County Civil Service Commission.
BACKGROUND: There is one vacant position on the Kittitas County
Civil Service Commission, which is due to Mr.
Allen’s term that has expired.
INTERACTION: On June 14th, 2017 Staff sent notice of Mr. Allen’s
term expiring. On July 31, 2017 Staff received a
letter dated July 11, 2017 from Mr. Allen asking the
Board to consider his reappointment.
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Erik Allen to the Civil Service
Commission. For a 6 year term effective
immediately and expiring in June of 2023.
HANDLING: Staff to notify the Applicant and Kittitas County
Civil Service Commission of reappointment. Staff
to update County Website.
