ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Amendment
to the Fee Schedule for Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office to Charge an Optional Fee for
Lamination of Concealed Pistol Licenses.
BACKGROUND: The purpose of this Resolution is to add to the Sheriff’s Office fee
schedule a fee of $1.00 for the optional lamination of Concealed Pistol Licenses
processed by the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office as a convenience to those who desire
that service. This fee schedule was originally set by Resolution 2004-02; this fee schedule
will be updated with a Resolution and Ordinance presented on Aug 15, 2017 for
approval. All proceeds of this fee will be deposited into the General Fund, tracked
separately via coding, and earmarked exclusively for the account of the Sheriff.
INTERACTION: This resolution was reviewed and approved as to form by the Kittitas
County Prosecutor’s Office.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Amendment
to the Fee Schedule for Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office to Charge an Optional Fee for
Lamination of Concealed Pistol Licenses.
HANDLING: Please return one copy of the completed Resolution to KCSO for our
records.
