AGENDA DATE: August 1, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the Appointment of Gayl Curtiss to the Kittitas County
Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee.
BACKGROUND: On July 20, 2017 Staff received an application from Gayl Curtiss
requesting the Board consider her for appointment to the County’s
Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee.
INTERACTION: On July 26, 2017 Staff received a letter from Debbie Myers, Clerk
for the Homelessness & Affordable Housing Committee stating
that the Committee had met and voted unanimously to
recommend that the BoCC consider appointing Ms. Curtiss.
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Ms. Curtiss to the Homelessness and Affordable Housing
Committee for a 2 year term effective immediately.
HANDLING: Deputy Clerk of the Board to notify Ms. Curtiss of the County
Commissioner’s decision, update public website and send
notification to the Clerk of the HAHC.
