AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: August 1, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing the Sheriff of
Kittitas County to negotiate, enter into, and approve contracts for expenditures, purchases
or .other contractual obligations for property, goods or services with a value of less than
$10,000 dollars.
BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners has the authority to snake such
contracts as may be necessary to their corporate or administrative powers, and to do all
necessary acts in relation to the property of the County pursuant to RCW 36.010.
INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and
approved.
RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing the Sheriff of
Kittitas County to negotiate, enter into, and approve contracts for expenditures, purchases
or other contractual obligations for property, goods or services with a value of less than
$10,000 dollars.
HANDLING: Return one original to the Sheriff's Office.
