KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: August 1, 2017 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing the Sheriff of <br />Kittitas County to negotiate, enter into, and approve contracts for expenditures, purchases <br />or .other contractual obligations for property, goods or services with a value of less than <br />$10,000 dollars. <br />BACKGROUND: The Board of County Commissioners has the authority to snake such <br />contracts as may be necessary to their corporate or administrative powers, and to do all <br />necessary acts in relation to the property of the County pursuant to RCW 36.010. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve a Resolution authorizing the Sheriff of <br />Kittitas County to negotiate, enter into, and approve contracts for expenditures, purchases <br />or other contractual obligations for property, goods or services with a value of less than <br />$10,000 dollars. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to the Sheriff's Office. <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
