Kittitas County <br />Public Health Department <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />July 31, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public <br />Health Administrator on the Health Care Authority Amendment 2 (K763). (Effective date: July <br />1, 2017- December 31, 2017) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The purpose of the Health Care Authority contract outlines the Statement of Work for the <br />Kittitas County Public Health Department to assist the HCA to reduce dental decay and improve <br />oral health in those Medicaid eligible children birth to six years by increasing the utilization of <br />dental services among the population in Washington.
