ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes the signature of the Kittitas County Public
Health Administrator on the Health Care Authority Amendment 2 (K763). (Effective date: July
1, 2017- December 31, 2017)
BACKGROUND:
The purpose of the Health Care Authority contract outlines the Statement of Work for the
Kittitas County Public Health Department to assist the HCA to reduce dental decay and improve
oral health in those Medicaid eligible children birth to six years by increasing the utilization of
dental services among the population in Washington. The amendment extends the period of
performance, replaces the Statement of Work, and increases the total maximum consideration of
$5,075.00.

Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on July 20, 2017
RECOMMENDATION:
