BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO. 2017-_______ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE RENEWAL OF AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATION <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH DEPARTMENT AND <br />CITY OF CLE ELUM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD), is <br />charged with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the County; and <br />WHEREAS, KCPHD and City of Cle Elum entered into an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement dated, <br />August 19, 2016, for the purpose of providing Sharps Disposal Kits; and <br />WHEREAS, The duration of the Agreement is for one (1) year, with the option to renew for <br /> successive five (5) year periods upon written consent of the Parties. <br />WHEREAS, the Parties desire to renew the Agreement, that is attached hereto and incorporated <br /> by reference, providing for a new expiration date of August 19, 2022.
