ACTION REQUESTED:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes a resolution to authorize the renewal of the
Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Kittitas County Public Health and City of Ellensburg.
(Effective dates: Upon Signature and End date: October 3, 2022)
BACKGROUND:
The Interlocal Agreement between Kittitas County Public Health and City of Elensburg outlines
the responsibilities of each party in order to provide sharps disposal kits for the safe and
convenient disposal of sharps to reduce the risk of sharps related injuries in the community. The
renewal will be for a period of 5 years instead of 1.
INTERACTION:
Kittitas County Board of Health: N/A
Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on July 17, 2017.
Kittitas County Auditor’s Office: Reviewed and approved on July 20, 2017.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Board of County Commissioners’ authorizes a resolution to authorize the renewal of the
Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between Kittitas County Public Health and City of Ellensburg.
(Effective dates: Upon Signature and End date: October 3, 2022)
HANDLING:
Clerk of the Board send notice of approval to the Auditor’s Office.
