LTAC RECOMMENDATION
At the July 13, 2017 meeting of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) the Lodging Tax
for Tourism -Related, Small -Scale Municipality -Owned Capital Projects and Operations Grant
Applications were reviewed/rated (see ratings below).
Grant Application Scores minimum 75points)
Cle Elum- WSHP- total -92
Ellensburg Wayfinding- total -90
Roslyn parking- total -82
Cle Elum downtown- total -75
Roslyn City Hall- total -60 (scored below the minimum 75 points)
The LTAC voted to forward the following recommendation for funding to the Board of County
Commissioners for Small Scale Capital Grant Applications.
#1 Cle Elum— WSHP $15,000
#2 Ellensburg Wayfinding 27,500
#3 Roslyn Parking 15,000
#4 Cle Elum downtown 17.500
$75,000 Total
The LTAC also voted to recommend allocating $207,000 for the County's Grant funding request
(eight different components) with some structured language in the Forest Service Agreement for
deliverables and additional information; and language in the Agreement with the Town to
Teanaway project with the understanding that the County is willing to help with the plan
structure, but may not necessarily approve of the plan.
