KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: September 6, 2016 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Approve the Addendum to the Professional Services <br />Agreement between Kittitas County and WSAC. <br />BACKGROUND: The County has a contract in place with DOE to provide <br />funding for facilitation of the Counties Columbia River <br />Policy Advisory Group through Neil Aaland and WSAC. <br />The County then contracts with WSAC to provide the <br />funding and WSAC contracts with Neil Aaland. This is a <br />function of the Chairmanship for the WSAC group which is <br />a role that Commissioner Jewell fulfills. Our County with <br />DOE provides funding through 6/30/2017 but our contract <br />with WSAC expired 6/30/2016. The Addendum extends <br />the contract with WSAC through 6/30/2017 to match the <br />contract with DOE. <br />INTERACTION: Commissioner Paul Jewell worked with the County <br />Prosecutor's Office in drafting the Addendum (SR <br />#34737). <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Addendum as presented <br />HANDLING: 1 — Clerk of the Board <br />1 — WSAC <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Addendum to PSA <br />• SR #34737 <br />• Original PSA with WSAC approved on 12/15/2015 <br />• DOE IAA No. C160082 approved on 11/17/2015 <br />LEAD STAFF: Commissioner Paul Jewell <br />
