RESOLUTION <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2017-________ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A LICENSE BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT <br />OF THE ARMY, YAKIMA TRAINING CENTER MILITARY INSTALLATION; AND YAKIMA AND <br />KITITTAS COUNTIES, W ASHINGTON <br /> <br /> W HEREAS, RCW 39.34, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />public agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Secretary of the Army (Secretary), or duly authorized <br />representative of the Secretary, hereby grants Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office a non- <br />exclusive license for use of lands at the Yakima Training Center Military Reservation, <br />W ashington, as described in the license document, a copy of which is attached hereto <br />and incorporated for reference; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this license is granted for a term of one (1) year, beginning July 1, <br />2017 and ending June 30, 2018, with no cost to the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office and <br />with all conditions as described in the license document; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that the <br />License document for use by the Yakima Training Center Military Installation be accepted, <br />and the Sheriff is authorized to sign such document. <br /> <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of 2017. <br /> <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> Paul Jewell, Chairman <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> Obie O’Brien, Commissioner <br /> <br />ATTEST: APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD <br /> ______________________________ <br />Julie A.
