RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE KITTITAS COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH
DEPARTMENT’S EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN
WHEREAS, Kittitas County, through the Kittitas County Public Health Department (KCPHD),
is charged with the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health in the
County; and
WHEREAS, the preservation, promotion, and improvement of health includes emergency
response and preparedness; and
WHEREAS, KCPHD has developed a comprehensive Emergency Operation Plan (EOP) that
provides guidelines for coordinated preparedness and response to emergency
incidents that may have public health implications in Kittitas County, which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners of Kittitas
County, Washington, adopts the Kittitas County Health Department’s Emergency Operations
Plan that is attached hereto, and incorporated herein by reference.
