AGENDA DATE: June 20, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Acknowledge City Representation/Recommendation to the County
Airport Advisory Board and Kittitas County Law & Justice Council.
BACKGROUND: The City of Ellensburg has held representative positions on
various County Boards and Committees. They recently had a
Council Member leave their term early and the new
Councilmember has been selected to represent the City of
Ellensburg on the County’s Airport Advisory Board and Kittitas
County Law & Justice Council.
INTERACTION: The Office of the City Manager, City of Ellensburg, sent a letter
dated June 6, 2017, requesting the County acknowledge City
Councilmember Nicole Klauss’s representation on the County’s
Airport Advisory Board and the County’s Law & Justice Council.
RECOMMENDATION: Acknowledge City Councilmember Nicole Klauss’s representation
on the County’s Airport Advisory Board and the County’s Law &
Justice Council.
HANDLING: BoCC Staff to update the County Boards and Commissions page,
and notify the City of the Board’s final decision.
