AGENDA STAFF REPORT
AGENDA DATE: June 20 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) consider the
recommendation list from the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
(LTAC) regarding the Tourism-Related, Large-Scale Municipality-
Owned Capital Projects and Operations Applications for 2017.
BACKGROUND: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) met in an open public
meeting on May 24, 2017 and reviewed and rated the Tourism-
Related, Large-Scale Municipality-Owned Capital Projects and
Operations Grant Applications. The LTAC voted to forward the nine
grant applications which received a score of 50 points and above to
the BOCC for review.
INTERACTION: The Capital Projects approved by the BOCC will be reviewed and
monitored by the Technical Review Team (TRT) for project
feasibility and any scope of work modifications, which would also
require BOCC approval.
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC consider the recommendation list from the LTAC
regarding the Large-scale, municipality-owned capital project and
Operations grant applications for 2017.
