<br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: June 6, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) sign a <br />Resolution allocating up to $75,000.00 of Hotel/Motel Funds for <br />Tourism-Related, Small-Scale, Municipality-Owned Capital Project <br />Grants in 2017. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) met in an open public <br />meeting on May 24, 2017 and voted to recommend to the BOCC <br />allocating up to $75,000.00 of Hotel/Motel funds for tourism-related, <br />small-scale municipality-owned capital projects and operations grant <br />applications. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The LTAC will review, and rate all grant applications received and <br />forward a recommendation to the BOCC for their review at a later <br />date. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC sign a Resolution allocating up to $75,000.00 of <br />Hotel/Motel Funds for tourism-related, small-scale, municipality- <br />owned capital project grants in 2017. <br /> <br />HANDLING: Original – Clerk of the Board <br /> Copy – LTAC <br /> Copy-Auditor <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Kittitas County Resolution <br /> Lodging Tax financial information from the Auditor’s Office <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Debbie Myers, LTAC Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
