AGENDA DATE: June 6, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) sign a
Resolution allocating up to $75,000.00 of Hotel/Motel Funds for
Tourism-Related, Small-Scale, Municipality-Owned Capital Project
Grants in 2017.
BACKGROUND: The Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) met in an open public
meeting on May 24, 2017 and voted to recommend to the BOCC
allocating up to $75,000.00 of Hotel/Motel funds for tourism-related,
small-scale municipality-owned capital projects and operations grant
applications.
INTERACTION: The LTAC will review, and rate all grant applications received and
forward a recommendation to the BOCC for their review at a later
date.
RECOMMENDATION: Request the BOCC sign a Resolution allocating up to $75,000.00 of
Hotel/Motel Funds for tourism-related, small-scale, municipality-
owned capital project grants in 2017.
