<br /> <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />“Tia Hill Day” <br />June 13, 2017 <br />2A State Track & Field Champion – 300 Meter Hurdles <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Tia Hill is currently a junior at Ellensburg High School and a leader amongst the Ellensburg High School <br />Girls Track & Field team; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Prior to this track season Tia had never participated in the 300 Meter Hurdle event before, and with her hard <br />work and commitment to training in the off season, she had exceptional performances in all of her events; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: On Saturday May 27, 2017 Tia placed 1st at the 2A State Track & Field Championships in the Girls 300 <br />Meter Hurdles in Tacoma, Washington with a time of 44.64 seconds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Tia should be recognized for her hard work, dedication, and passion for the sport of track & field while <br />representing her teammates, family, Ellensburg High School, and all residents of Kittitas County; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of County Commissioners asks the citizens of Kittitas County to join <br />them in celebrating and honoring Tia Hill and her 2A State Track & Field Championship Title for the Girls 300 Meter Hurdles <br />by Proclaiming June 13, 2017 as “Tia Hill Day” in Kittitas County. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 6th day of June 2017. <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> <br /> Paul Jewell, Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> <br /> Obie O’Brien, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board
