KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: June 6, 2017 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution Authorizing the Chair's <br />Signature on Supplemental Agreement No. 2, extending the <br />NWC Jacobs Contract to July 31, 2017 <br />BACKGROUND: In late 2015, Public Works began working on a watershed <br />assessment for the Naneum, Wilson Cheng Creek <br />Assessment Phase 1 (NWC) grant. The work is essentially <br />complete and Recreation Conservation Office (RCO) is <br />requesting a time extension allowing additional time for <br />technical advisory group (TAG) members to comment on <br />final plan recommendations. Public Works is currently <br />evaluating the potential need to fund one final stakeholder <br />meeting of the TAG. Action extending the grant deadline <br />is required at this time. If supplemental funding is required <br />to deliver a final stakeholder meeting, Public Works will <br />prepare a contract supplement and return to the Board of <br />County Commission for authorization. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Chairman's signature extending the NWC <br />grant deadline to July 31, 2017. <br />HANDLING: Return one original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Exhibit 1: Contract Supplement 02 with Jacobs, NWC <br />Watershed Assessment Phase 1 <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark R.
