Kittitas County <br />Auditor <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />5/2/2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Approve Resolution to purchase and finance the Verity Election System and authorize the County Auditor to <br />sign the Hart Intercivic purchase agreement and the Municipal Lease Purchase Agreement with Government <br />Capital Corp. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Our current system was purchased in 2005. There have been minor upgrades. However, the certified <br />operating program for our current system is Windows 2000 which is no longer supported. We worked with <br />Chelan County for an Interlocal Purchase Agreement to purchase the system on their bid process saving us <br />time and effort.
