ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve Resolution to purchase and finance the Verity Election System and authorize the County Auditor to
sign the Hart Intercivic purchase agreement and the Municipal Lease Purchase Agreement with Government
Capital Corp.
BACKGROUND:
Our current system was purchased in 2005. There have been minor upgrades. However, the certified
operating program for our current system is Windows 2000 which is no longer supported. We worked with
Chelan County for an Interlocal Purchase Agreement to purchase the system on their bid process saving us
time and effort. Once approved, the installation is scheduled for the 3rd week in May to be ready for the
Primary and General Election this year.
