KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: May 2, 2017 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Lease for Lots C-5 and C-6 <br />of the Kittitas County Airport Amended Binding <br />Site Plan with Kittitas County Public Works <br />Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund. <br />BACKGROUND: During the solicitation of bids for the <br />Manufacture and Supply of Aggregate for <br />Bituminous Surface Treatment, Staff outlined the <br />need to stockpile the chip rock for maintenance <br />and chip seal needs. Lots C-5 and C-6 of the <br />Kittitas County Airport Amended Binding Site <br />Plan, after SEPA review, were identified as two <br />stockpile sites. The Kittitas County Public Works <br />Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund will enter <br />into a lease agreement with the Kittitas County <br />Airport Fund for a period of 10 years with the <br />option to renew at the end of the 10 year period. <br />INTERACTION: <br />Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve and sign the Lease for Lots C-5 and C-6 <br />of the Kittitas County Airport Amended Binding <br />Site Plan with Kittitas County Public Works <br />Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund. <br />HANDLING: Return one (1) original to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Lease <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook, Director of Public Works <br />
