AGENDA DATE: May 2, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve an Amendment to a Professional Services Agreement
between Kittitas County and Kittitas County Chamber (Lodging
Tax Services).
BACKGROUND: The County has a contract in place with the Kittitas County
Chamber of Commerce to provide tourism promotion and
marketing services that is funded by lodging tax revenues.
This Amendment would allow additional language to the
scope of work and to the budget for the chamber to
purchase I-pads and to develop a digital survey tool for
events to use. It would be the Chambers responsibility to
work with events to conduct the surveys, compile the data,
and provide it to the County as well as the respective
events. This amendment will specify the new tasks and
includes funding of up to $3,000.00.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors Office reviewed the Amendment (Camas
#38276).
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Amendment to PSA between Kittitas County and
Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce.
