KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: May 2, 2017 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge FFY15 (HSGP) Homeland Security <br />Grant Program #E16-071 Amendment B. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Homeland Security Grant Program is part of the ongoing <br />Homeland Security grants that are managed through the Region 7 Interlocal Agreement. <br />This Amendment B extends the original deadline from March 31, 2017 to June 30, 2018 <br />and replaces the original Milestones, shown on Exhibit D, with the revised Milestones, <br />shown on the revised Exhibit D. It is necessary to change the milestones in order to give <br />Kittitas County sufficient time to meet the extensive controlled equipment purchase <br />requirements. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The original grant agreement and the related Amendment B and <br />Attachment D have been reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County Prosecutor’s <br />Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge FFY15 (HSGP) Homeland Security <br />Grant Program #E16-071 Amendment B. <br /> <br />HANDLING: No handling. <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Commander Darren Higashiyama
