AGENDA DATE: May 2, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Consider the Appointment of Jessie Martin to the County
Planning Commission Dist. #3 vacancy & authorize the Chair to
Sign a Letter of appointment.
BACKGROUND: Currently there is one vacant position on the Kittitas County
Planning Commission Dist. #3.
INTERACTION: Application from Ms. Martin received 4/3/2017.
Staff was directed on 4-17-2017 to place the Application on the
next Agenda Session for consideration.
RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Ms. Martin to the vacant Dist. #3 Planning Commission
seat, for a term to commence immediately & expire on
December 31, 2020 and authorize the Chair to sign letters of
appointment.
HANDLING: Staff to notify the candidate and notify the Clerk of the Planning
Commission, as well as update Boards and Committees website.
