<br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />Kittitas High School Boys Basketball Team <br />2017 State B Champions Day – April 24, 2017 <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas High School Boys’ Basketball team went undefeated with a record of 24 wins <br />and 0 losses during their 2016-2017 season play; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas High School Boys Basketball team took first place in their League, District, <br />and Regionals and qualified for the 2B State High School Basketball Tournament in <br />Spokane, Washington from March 3, 2017 through March 5, 2017; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: on March 5, 2017 the Kittitas High School boys basketball team defeated the Liberty <br />Lancers in the State Championship game with a score of 72-69; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: the Kittitas County Board of Commissioners would like to recognize the Kittitas High <br />School Boys Basketball Team members Caleb Harris, Justin Hudson, Cole Lenihan, Bryan <br />Arnold, Andrew Driver, Bailey Gibson, Christian Mata, Connor Brown, Tyson Dekoning, <br />Drew Lamb, Martin Arreola and Brock Ravet along with their coaches and assistants for <br />their accomplishments over the past few months and for their hard work, dedication, and <br />love for the sport of basketball; <br /> <br />WHEREAS: these young men not only brought home a State Championship for their school, but served <br />as ambassadors for Kittitas County as they played throughout their season; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: The Board of Commissioners would like to request that the <br />citizens of Kittitas County join them in celebrating and honoring the 2017 Kittitas High School Boys’ <br />Basketball Team and Proclaim April 24, 2017 as “Kittitas High School Boys Basketball Team 2B State <br />Champions Day” in Kittitas County. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this day of , 2017. <br /> <br />THE KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> Paul Jewell, Chairman <br /> <br /> Laura Osiadacz, Vice-Chairman <br /> <br /> Obie O’Brien, Commissioner <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board
