AGENDA DATE: April 18, 2017
ACTION REQUESTED: Approve a Resolution authorizing an Interlocal Agreement
between Kittitas County and the City of Ellensburg regarding the
use of Reed Park.
BACKGROUND: Chairman Jewell worked with the City of Ellensburg & County
Staff to come up with an Interlocal Agreement (ILA) that allows
the County to exercise its right to use Reed Park during events at
the Event Center. Staff was directed to place the ILA and
Resolution between Kittitas County & the City of Ellensburg
onto the next Agenda Session for consideration.
INTERACTION: The Prosecutors Office reviewed the Agreement drafted by the
City of Ellensburg (Camas #38072), and drafted the Resolution.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Authorizing an Interlocal Agreement
between Kittitas County & City of Ellensburg regarding the use
of Reed Park.
HANDLING: 1 - Copy Clerk of the Board
2 – Original ILA’s to City of Ellensburg for signature - Once
returned staff to upload one fully executed ILA to ILA Page and
send a copy to Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager & Event
Center Director.
