Community Development Block Grants
Citizens who have an objection to and its implementation for proposed or
operating Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) projects, and./or with
the operation of any CDBG funded project, may file a grievance with the Kittitas
County Board of Commissioners, at 205 West 5th -- Room. 108, Ellensburg,
Washington 99925. Their telephone number is (509) 962-7508, The grievance
must be filed in writing, with the desired outcome and/ or proposed resolution
to the grievance. The Kittitas County Board of Conuni.ssioners will review all
grievances submitted with staff and/or project sponsors, and set a special
meeting, where the elected body at the open public meeting will hear and
discuss the said grievance. A written decision will be made within 30 business
days. The decision of the governing body is final.
A record of action taken on each complaint will be maintained as part of the
records or minutes at each level of the grievance process.
