Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board <br />Kittitas County Courthouse <br />205 W. 5th, Suite 108 <br />Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER BID 2017 <br />The Daily Record is pleased to submit this bid to contract as the official county newspaper for Kittitas <br />County for the term of one year, commencing July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018. <br />m Legal Advertising, based on a 6 column format: $8.73 per column inch. <br />Display Advertising, based on a 6 column format: $7.62 per column inch. <br />Note: The display rate pertains to advertising placed in the news section of the newspaper, which could <br />include (but is not limited to) special primary and general election notices. <br />Number of days from notification by the city for publication of legal notices: 11 a.m., 2 working <br />days prior. In emergency cases or special circumstances, that deadline may be amended. <br />Affidavits are provided with all notices. <br />Advantages of choosing the Daily Record for legal notices include: <br />The above rates reflect a 1% increase over the rate that has been held flat since the 2011-2012 <br />contract year and are 46% lower than our published legal advertising rates of $12.75, which is <br />extended to all general legal notice advertisers as noted on our published rate card. <br />• The Daily Record newspaper has the highest reach and circulation of newspapers in Kittitas <br />County. Our average paid daily circulation is 4,400. <br />s The Daily Record publishes legal notices six days a week, Monday -Saturday. <br />• Legal notices appear online at no additional charge. Our website is one of the top viewed <br />websites in the county, and garners an average of 200,000 page views per month. It is updated <br />daily. <br />If awarded this contract, we will be happy to furnish a performance bond in the sum of $10,000 and <br />follow the additional requirements as set forth in the contract agreement. <br />
